Short answer
Wait until the curing period recommended for your particular film and installation has passed. Fat Boy’s customer agreement says to keep tinted windows rolled up during that recommended period; we provide job-specific instructions.
Why new film needs time
Freshly installed film needs time to settle and cure against the glass. Operating a window too soon can disturb an edge or the film position. Minor moisture, haze, or small bubbles may be visible at first and typically improve during curing, but the timing varies with conditions.
Northwest Florida heat and humidity can affect the curing experience. An installation in Freeport, Destin, or Panama City Beach still needs vehicle-specific care instructions; do not treat a single internet timetable as a guarantee for every film and window.
Aftercare that helps
Follow the instructions provided at your appointment. Keep the windows up for the recommended period, avoid touching film edges, and ask before using cleaners on newly tinted glass. If a bubble, edge, or haze does not improve as expected, contact us so we can review it rather than trying to peel or press the film yourself.
We discuss aftercare at handoff so you know what is normal immediately after installation and when to get in touch. Our workmanship terms and any film-specific guidance should be reviewed with your job paperwork.
